When these kids grow up, what would they know about life? What would their feelings be? Would they know about love, kindness, caring? Or would it be hatred, anger and despise all they know?
With in the beautiful islands of the Maldives, child abuse has increased immensely. For several reasons perhaps! What ever the reasons are, what ever actions that are required to bring an end to this, it should be done right now, at this very moment.
It brings tears to the eyes, to see children beaten up, tortured and even murdered!

after watching the video, I remebered my child hood. for simple reasons I was beaten, had to stay without food for days.one thing came to my mind. My mom and sister beated me …. may be they are not much aware at that time or due to poverty. but why today why young children are physically beaten? shall we start a strong campaign against this. I would like to call Human Rights Commission and the NGO’s of this country to start a programme to bring end this type of activities. punish them…punish those adults who beats thier innocent children. we have to do this. cox these children later on turn in to criminals abusers.. this will continue … over and over
If people can’t control their kids, or if they don’t have the capacity to take care of children, then they shouldn’t have children.
Marry early, have a boh fathi, kill your dreams and become an unhappy stay-at-home wife, and you’re very likely to take out that frustration on your kids.
Watching this video brings many dark memories of our childhoold. I grew up in a big family. At the age similar to the children in that video. Some cruel things were inflicted upon all of us that we don’t wanna talk about by our parents.
I thought this was normal. That parents do this to their kids.
I know the biggest thing these kids lose when they grow up and face society. They grow up without self confidence and without self esteem.
I hope you raise these issues as much as you can. Yes, i still complain. I even asked my parents why they did these – and they replied with a blank stare and said that they don’t remember. I hate them for it.
Difficult to watch this video. The mother shown in the video should be investigated for beating. Cruel mother.
very cruel indeed…. beating, hitting, corporal punishment and any physical harm should and must be bring to an end right now, at this very moment.
This is so disturbing to watch. I can just about imagine those kids growing up in fear of being beaten for every step they make.
They will learn, and master the art of endurance; as they learn early in life that the strong survive and the weak shall die. They will become the ultimate killing machines – cruel, vicious and manifest of an absolute disregard for humanity.
And their first victim shall be the accursed who bought them into this world.

I can understand the indecisiveness of the cameraman in this situation; but the woman had turned her back, offering an opportunity to deliver a killing blow to the spinal cord. The tradeoff is quite fair in my opinion – kill a woman undeserving of life and give two(three?) children the gift of life.
