Wataniya introduces SMS challenge
Wataniya has set its customers the challenge of sending 1,000 text messages in November for the price of Rf39 only.
Customers can subscribe between 1 and 10 November to participate for this offer, which is available to those using Wataniya’s TalkEasy prepaid service.
“We see that a lot of young crowds these days just love sending SMS, they’re always in touch with their closest friends, mainly through SMS; be it a coffee plan, sharing some jokes, some weekend plan, or just long conversations. It’s a part of their life. Wataniya Text 1000 promotion is perfect for them,” said Arshad Shakir, manager of market development at Wataniya.
To take part, send the keyword “Text” to 4444.
It appears they’ve done their research well xD . Atleast this is more productive than Dhiraagus’ idea that using a computer to access the internet makes you un-hip.
People who text frequently will continue to do so regardless. I think this is a fun promo, it lets us text just as frequently at such a low price! And texting is useful, like the last time i texted the most was on nov 3rd with the protests and stuff. i swear i would have sent atleast around 200 texts that day! :P
Wataniya is still behind. Airtel gives us 100 sms per day for the price of 1 paisa (equivalent to 0.2 Laari).
This is very useful. We breath sms these days. Many dont want to disturb someone by calling them unless something is very important.

Good Idea…. i send like 10 sms per day… so at the end of the month it will be like 300 sms… some months even more then that… itx cheap then calling someone… and spending a lot of money…!!!
