Celebrate what, my friend? OK, dictator Gayoom is no longer there. But our standard of living and this country is going down with each passing day. The Government we elected is unable to provide us the leadership we sought. There appear to be no coherence in any policy of the Government. We have seen 80 million dollars allegedly siphoned off by gayoom. We were promised 25,000 houses. it bacame 10,000 later. We were promised that not a cent of our pay will be deducted. We were given the word that our electricity charges will not increase. the people’s government is promising us project after project. wind farm in gaafaru, international airport in hanimaadhoo. 10,000 tourist beds in the north. We know that none of this is going to happen. So tell me my friend. what is it that you want to celebrate?
MDP govt sucks
come on guys, its not only in the maldives we have this problem its every where.give them some time nothing works in 1 day we have to wait.if the goverment doesnt do this in 5 years then u could say about this but i belive there are doing some work. maldivian goverment dont have the money to do it. so we need to get money from invester.i know this year is not good year for all of us. it is not in the maldives people income has been cut, in malaysia singapore,UAE qatar uk, eu other countys and even USA income has cut down.come on see the news BBC,CNN and CNBC i m not a guy who work, i m a student i have face alot of problem when i m studing in malaysia.it is not the maldives govement problem.god willing i hope next year thing would be ok.even if DRP or DGP are in power would be same.only thing is now we know what the goverment is doing and not doing and that is a good.people have the right to know.i hope u guys would understand it.today.
