Advert: “Sheikh” Fareed giving sermon tomorrow night against Valentine’s Day

“A very special sermon” is to be held on February 12 at 8.45pm at the Artificial Beach in Male’.
The sermon will be delivered by, gasp, you guessed by none other than The Great “Sheikh” Fareed himself! Eeek!
Titled ‘With the Loved One’, the sermon is organized by (*another gasp*) The Homosexuality Awareness Foundation, sorry, um, the “Islamic” Foundation of Maldives which earlier was caught pants down in controversy after it tried TOO HARD to spread gay awareness in Maldives, something Maldivians were already bored of after centuries of its use.
The sermon, which according to DhiIslam is being delivered “to a different topic,” will be advertised; accordingly the website says that it has been informed that the IFM are currently working on advertising it on TVM – under the Maldives National Broadcasting Cooperation’s newly embraced regulation at disseminating government-blessed softcore porn for a wider Maldives audience regardless of whether that audience includes children.
DhiIslam also tells us to expect more banners and posters coming up all over the country in the next few days – to add to more trees to be cut down and vandalism and defacing of public walls and property.
DhiIslam describes IFM’s series of lectures as has been “welcomed widely by many”. A sermon which the “many” Maldivian people particularly liked is said to be a sermon titled Bodu vegen vaa inzaaru or literally Mother of all Warnings.
Those who want to warm-up for the Sheikh’s preemptive attack on Love are already advised to preview the Shahrukh Khan-Amitabh Bachchan (non-gay) anti-romance thriller Mohabattein in order that ye may understand even an ounce of the Sheikh’s ramblings.
